You will stop at FOL Viewpoint for views over the convict built Cathedral, Coconut Square, the city center, marina, and the ship at berth in the harbor.
Drive by the old colonial buildings and the picturesque Promenade Pierre Vernier, Meridien Hotel, the only 5 star hotel in New Caledonia then up to Ouen Toro Lookout where a soft drink and French pastries will be offered.
New Caledonia is home to the world's largest lagoon. From this vantage point at the tip of the peninsular, which is also home to a dignified World War II memorial, you'll have an excellent view of the bays and beaches, across the lagoon to small marine reserve islands with fringing coral reefs.
